SOLD. Historic Lime Kiln Lighthouse on the west side of San Juan Island, is known for the steep, rocky cliffs and deep water.
I painted this from a photo that I took south of the lighthouse. Reflections, rocks, trees, mountains, sea swirls are all in this oil painting. I have visited this lighthouse countless times since 1994.
I also have a painting of this lighthouse when viewed from the opposite side.
I continue my paintings on all four sides/edges of the canvas. This gives the option of not framing the piece.
