Orca Full Breach 8 X 10 Inches
Since I mostly paint what is around me on my island, San Juan Island, my list of oil paintings would not be complete without a breaching orca whale.
Orca eyes can see in the air as well as underwater. Since orca whales spend about 90% of their time under the water, this is a treat to see them not just peeking out, but taking their entire body out of the water. Some say it is just for fun or jumping for joy.
