Lime Kiln Lighthouse-The Other Side-San Juan Island

from $28.00

Historic Lime Kiln Lighthouse on the west side of San Juan Island, is known for the steep, rocky cliffs and deep water.
I painted this from a photo that I took north of the lighthouse. Reflections, rocks, trees, mountains, sea swirls are all in this oil painting. I have visited this lighthouse countless times since 1994. This side of the lighthouse is not usually seen by visitors. That is why I call it “the other side”.

I also have a painting of this lighthouse viewed from the opposite side.
